With 20 years as a Certified Nursing Aide and 25 years dedicated to working with adults with disabilities, Terry understands healthcare from the ground up. With a Ph.D. in Public Administration and the discipline of a Marine Corps veteran, Terry is ready to bring professional, stable governance to the Unicameral.
Born and raised in Nebraska, Terry has deep roots in District 8. He's lived through the challenges facing our neighborhoods—from the economic struggles of working families to the mental health crisis affecting our veterans and youth. These experiences, combined with his academic training and practical experience, give him the unique perspective needed to represent District 8 effectively.

20+ years as a Chief Union Steward, fighting for fair wages, safe working conditions, and workers' rights. This role taught Terry how to navigate complex systems, negotiate effectively, and advocate for working families.
Ph.D. in Public Administration
Earned his doctorate, deepening his understanding of government operations, policy analysis, and public management. This academic foundation complements his practical experience in union leadership and community service.
State Senate Campaign
